UltraGlide UltraGlide keeps the cord length constant whether a blind is fully raised or fully lowered.  With a standard cellular shade, when fully raised, the cords pool on the floor creating an hazard for children and pets as well as detract from the aesthetics of your window.

Two Blinds in One Optimize light control with cellular shades.  Sheer or light-filtering fabric can be used during the daytime and room-darkening fabric can be used at night to afford you the maximum in light control for your room - all in just one shade!

Two fabrics are used:  one between the top rail and the center rail and one between the center rail and bottom rail.  Each panel has its own set of lift cords so either fabric panel, or portion of a fabric panel, may be used to cover a window.

Skylight Skylight Blinds are perfect for significantly reducing light coming in your skylight windows that can make your room uncomfortable.  Remove unbearable heat and blinding sunlight.

Skylight cellular shades are also a perfect solution for removing virtually all light in Media Rooms so you can watch your favorite movie, or the Game, with friends without enduring the glare that most uncovered windows produce.

Number of Cells in a Cellular Shade

  • Single cell refers to a single layer of connected cells - offers sound control, energy efficiency, privacy and light control to perfectly suit your style.  If choosing a single cell fabric, in general, we recommend 3/8" cell size shades for small windows and 3/4" or larger cell sizes for larger windows for proper proportion.
  • Double cell refers to a double layer of connected cells - double cell fabrics offer better sound control, energy efficiency, privacy and light control due to the double layer of cells.
  • Triple cell refers to a triple layer of connected cells - offer the best in sound control, energy efficiency, privacy and light control.  We recommend triple cell shades for extreme situations with blasting sun or extreme cold.
