Light Filtering |
Light:
During the day, enjoy the cheerfulness that the sun brings,
while controlling it's strength.
Fading: When the vanes are closed, sheer horizontal
shadings block a significant portion of the sun's UV rays
that cause your furniture and floors to fade.

home alone. At night, rest secure knowing no one can
see you from outside.

and your loved ones
can sleep soundly.

How Do Sheer Horizontal Shades Operate?
Completely open, the view of the outside world is subdued. When partially
to completely closed, there's a softly diffused glow with opalescent
translucency. When raised, the entire shading disappears into a
sleek headrail.

Which Vane Size Should I Choose for Sheer Horizontal Shades?
As a rule, the narrower the vane, the more vanes necessary.

2" Vanes |
2 1/2" Vanes |
3" Vanes |
|
2" Vane: The
2" vanes use more vanes to cover the opening due to their
width. Relative to the other vane widths they create a busier
look, limiting your view to the outside. The 2" vane width
is the most popular of the sheer vane sizes.
2 1/2" Vane: Shadings made with a 2 1/2" wide
vane provide a clearer view to the outdoors. The
2 1/2" vane is perfect for larger windows.
3" Vane: The 3" vane provides a shutter-like look
and offers a less obstructed view to the outside; because the
vanes
are wider, it takes fewer of them to construct the blind.
We recommend the 3" vane for very large windows where you want
to harmonize the window size with the window covering.
